About - Brooke Moen Acupuncture and Wholistic Medicine in Burlington, Vermont

"The basic work of health professionals ... is to become full human beings and to inspire full human-beingness in people who feel starved about their lives" -Trungpa Rinpoche

This photo is of me with one of my dear teachers in San Francisco, Dr. Joseph Chi Ng. He, along with many other beloved mentors, colleagues and patients, have provided a rich education in what it means to heal, and to be human. I strive to bring this to each person I touch daily; may I leave the interaction with both of us encountering a bit of healing connection. More specifically, it is my truest intention to bring the power of this great lineage of health and healing to each and every patient, supporting your fullest potential.

About my training and experience: I completed a post-undergraduate, 4-year Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine, at The American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. During this time, I apprenticed with Dr. Robert Johns (OMD) in Berkeley, and worked as an herbal "pharmacist" at Spring Wind Dispensary in San Francisco. I practiced in San Francisco with Dr. Thomas Cowan (MD) for several years, then at Energy Matters Acupuncture & Qigong in Oakland. After moving to Vermont in 2012, I had the privilege of serving Burlington at Vermont Community Acupuncture for over a year. I am a board-certified, Licensed Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Herbalist in California and Vermont.
